Nakabili na ang lokal na pamahalaang lungsod ng Maynila nang ₱111-milyong halaga ng lupa para sa “Land for the Landless” housing program nito na magbebenepisyo sa mahigit 600 pamilyang Manilenyo.

Nilagdaan ni Manila Mayor Isko Moreno ang Deed of Absolute Sale para sa pagbili ng lokal na pamahalaang lungsod ng isang 6,003-square meter na pribadong lote para sa sinabing socialized housing program nito.

Ayon kay Yorme nakabili ang lungsod ng Maynila ng lupa sa may Pasigline sa Sta. Ana sa pamamagitan ng Ordinance No. 8115, noong 2006.

Dagdag ni Moreno, hindi sila titigil hanggang walang ligtas at disenteng komunindad ang bawat Manilenyo.
